Château La Prade 2022 – Francs Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fruity, fresh with good definition and depth as well as a small power of a controlled grain. We have notes of luscious fleshy purple plums, blackcurrant and more slightly violets associated with touches of strawberries as well as fine hints of flowers and pepper or even fresh nutmeg. The palate is fruity with freshness and minerality. There is a juicy, tangy frame with good definition, deliciousness and tension. An airy side in its richness and minerality contributes to the accuracy of this wine. We have notes of pulpy and juicy blackberries, pulpy acidulous plum and small notes of crushed cherries associated with touches of small pulpy acidulous red fruits as well as hints of toasted almonds and salinity. There is an imperceptible almost noble varietal hint in the background. The freshness is shimmering.
