The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a fine intensity as well as gourmandize. It reveals notes of bright raspberry, bright blackberry, small notes of bright redcurrant associated with a touch of cassis as well as fine hints of liquorice stick and a discreet hint of black tea. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a certain gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame as well as suavity, sapidity and a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, bright blackberry, small notes of redcurrant associated with a touch of bright plum, liquorice stick, tonka bean and a very discreet hint of camphor. Tannins are well-built. A good gourmand persistence. A subtle hint of tonka bean on the persistence/aftertaste.
