On the nose it is fruity it offers a fine concentration as well as tension. It reveals the notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, wild raspberry and more slightly ripe small red fruits associated with racy minerality as well as fine hints of sweet spices, pulpy wild fruits, cuben pepper, star anise, very discreet varietal hints, fresh tobacco and chocolate. On the mouth it is fruity, a bit tight and offers juiciness, suavity, a little freshness, a good definition, tension as well as a little elongated side, a nice work on the bitterness, energy, fat, a certain fluidity. The wine express the notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, violet and more lightly of small bright berries associated with hints of strawberry, crunchy cherry as well as fine points of toast, caramelization, cherry blossom, peony, chocolate, fine hazelnut. The tannins are precise, finely mellow.
