The nose is fruity and offers freshness, intensity and a fine grain. There are notes of wild blackcurrant, fresh flowers/lys and more slightly of wild red berries combined with fine hints of nutmeg, a fine touch of iris, fresh cloves and a hint of racy minerality and an imperceptible touch of fresh vanilla. The palate is fresh and offers fruit, tension, acidity and crispness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fresh raspberry, crunchy blackberry and more slightly crunchy red berry combined with hints of iris, varietal, fine hints of fresh nutmeg, a subtle hint of toast and a very discreet hint of almost bergamot and vanilla (in the background).
