Château La Mission Haut-Brion 2017 – Pessac-Leognan Cru Classé

The nose is fruity and offers a fine freshness, a fine fleshiness as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of William pear, ripe nectarine and more slightly fresh citrus associated with a hint of zests of fresh lemon, mesocarp of grapefruit as well as fine hints of racy minerality, toasted and a very discreet saline hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, juicy, precise, harmonious, slightly rich, elegant and offers a beautiful definition, a fine suavity, a beautiful guideline, a beautiful acid frame, tension, vivacity, gourmandize, a fine straightness, a very beautiful elegance as well as deepness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh William pear, fresh pear and more slightly crushed fresh apple associated with small touches of fresh pineapple, ripe citrus, subtle touches of racy minerality, almond as well as a very discreet touche of fresh nut. Good length and beautiful persistence (on touches of juicy/fresh fruits and discreets touches of toasted). Very beautiful potential!
