The nose is aromatic, racy, bewitching and elegant. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and more slightly ripe wild strawberry associated with hints of graphite, small wild fruits, toasted, almond as well as touches of caramelization/sweet spices, a very discreet hint of violet, tea (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced, racy, elegant and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful freshness, tension, a very fine unctuosity, harmony, delicacy, a beautiful structure, a lot of subtlety, a fine straightness as well as fleshiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fleshy wild strawberry and more slightly fleshy wild raspberry associated with small touches of oak, almond as well as subtle hints of racy/saline minerality and a very discreet hint of flowers (in the background). Tannins are elegant. Good length. There is a hint of toasted almondand toasted bread on the aftertaste. Good persistence.
