The nose is fruity and offers a slight freshness and power. It reveals notes of fresh wild blackberry, fresh/ripe wild small fruits and slight notes of ripe cassis associated with a hint of clay, fresh/ripe blueberry, a discreet hint of fresh/ripe wild strawberry as well as slight notes of licorice, spices, a very discreet/subtle hint of flowers, gray pepper, chocolate, almonds (on the background), roasting and toasted oak. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, slightly tight, slightly fleshy/density and offers a beautiful tension, a slight acid frame, a slight suavity, a slight unctuosity, a slight racy minerality (clay), a beautiful fat as well as a certain purity. In the mouth this wine expresses slight notes of fresh/ripe wild blackberry, fresh/ripe cassis and a hint of strawberry, blueberry (very discreet) associated with hints of toasted oak, a very discreet hint of licorice, caramelized oak, chocolate and a subtle hint of clay (terroir). Tannins are fine, racy and ripes. There is a very discreet hint of ripe almond and a hint of vanilla on the persistence.
