(Organic) The wine shows a medium ruby colour. The nose is full of Mediterranean herbs, garrigue, nuances of bay leaf and black olives, combined with notes of ripe blackberries and sour cherries. The palate is dense with bold, grippy, still very astringent tannins and good freshness. The palate offers nuances of spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, a hint of black pepper and cedarwood. The fruit is still hiding behind this oak imprint. Astringent and warming finish. Need time to soften.
