The nose is fruity, elegant and offers delicacy as well as a small power (full of delicacy). It reveals notes of crunchy wild blackberry, ripe cassis and small notes of violet associated with touches of crushed raspberry, small wild berries, a touch of grey pepper as well as a subtle hint of zan, lilac, a very discreet hint of cardamom and a subtle hint of mild tobacco (in the background). The palate is fruity, racy, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, suavity, a good balance, tension and a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe wild cassis, wild blackberry and small notes of crunchy raspberry associated with touches of small berries as well as fine hints of lily, lilac, a discreet hint of rose, cocoa, cardamom and an imperceptible hint of tobacco (in the background). Good length and persistence. Tannins are precise, structuring and well-built. A very discreet chew on the persistence.
