Château La Grande Clotte – L’Envolé 2018 – Lussac Saint-Emilion

The nose is fruity and offers concentration and a small freshness. It reveals notes of black cherry/griotte and small notes of ripe wild strawberry associated with small touches of liquorice as well as discreet hints of Timut pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, juicy, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, precision, tension, fat as well as a good tannic structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, griotte and small notes of red fruits (strawberry, red berries) associated with small touches of liquorice, toasted as well as discreet hints of cardamom and tea. Tannins are elegant. Good length.
