Château La Grâce Dieu Les Menuts 2021 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity and reveals good definition, some concentration, fine power and a fine spiciness. There are notes of boysenberry, blackcurrant and more lightly of Madagascar pepper combined with fine hints of star anise/eucalyptus as well as fine vanilla and a touch of blueberry. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, juiciness/freshness, good definition, sweetness and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses pulpy/fresh blackberry, fresh/pulpy raspberry and lighter blackcurrant notes with hints of red berries, eucalyptus, sap and a hint of cardamom/mocha, some salinity and positive bitterness on the finish/persistence. Fresh. Good length. The tannins are sapid and racy.
