The nose offers a small power, a fine intensity as well as a very fine concentration. It reveals notes of ripe wild strawberry, dry raspberry, small notes of cuben pepper associated with touches of dry cassis, nutmeg as well as fine hints of spices, toasted oak, cocoa and a very discreet hint of roasted thyme. The palate is fruity, finely tight, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, juiciness, suavity as well as a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed raspberry dry Boysen berry as well as discreet hints of cuben pepper and a subtle hint of dry mild tobacco. Good length. Tannins are supple and offer a very discreet hint of underwood on the finish/persistence. Good length.
