The nose is flowery, framed and offers a little varietal quality. There are notes of fresh lilies, violets and slightly fresh blackberries combined with hints of fresh red berries and a subtle hint of peony, red pepper and a discreet touch of pepper. The palate is fruity and reveals minerality, tension and good balance. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh cherry, pulpy raspberry and slightly fresh violet notes combined with hints of peony, rose as well as fine points of red pepper, pepper and a subtle hint of clove. The tannins are finely dry.
