Château La Galiane 2017 – Margaux

The nose is gourmand, aromatic and offers a small power as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of strawberry, blackberry and small notes of cassis associated with small touches of violet, cornflower as well as fine hints of crushed cherry and a subtle hint of sweet spices. The nose is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition as well as gourmandize. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, juicy/ripe raspberry and small notes of cherry associated with small touches of violet, vanilla, tobacco leaf as well as a subtle hint of tonka bean and graphite. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
