On the nose it is fruity and offers a fine juiciness. It reveals notes of blackcurrant, juicy raspberry and more slightly juicy cassis associated with fine touches of blackberry as well as a discreet hint of violet and nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, fat, roundness, freshness, a good balance and a fine depth. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, crushed raspberry and more lightly chocolate associated with touches of almond, juicy berries as well as a subtle hint of pepper. The tannins are well developed. Good length. Presence of a fine salinity on the finish / persistence. Presence of a discreet chewiness on the persistence.
