Château La Fleur de Boüard 2019 – Lalande-de-Pomerol 

The nose is fruity and offers power and a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of wild cassis, ripe blackberry, small notes of wild strawberry associated with a touch of crushed raspberry, small black fruits as well as a hint of blueberry, cornflower as well as hints of grey pepper, spices and a very discreet hint of tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, precision and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy black cherry, juicy/fleshy cassis, small notes of wild raspberry associated with a touch of fleshy blackberry as well as fine hints of liquorice, wild strawberry, pepper, cocoa as well as a discreet hint of grilled and tea. Good length. Tannins are elegant, fine and structuring.
