Château La Dominique 2017 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, finely tight, racy and offers a fine grain as well as power. It reveals notes of wild blackberry and small notes of wild small red fruits associated with fine touches of gray pepper, spices, liquorice and a very discreet hint of tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy frame, a good definition as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/crunchy cassis, juicy blackberry and small notes of juicy/crunchy raspberry associated with a subtle hint of lily, sweet spices, liquorice and an imperceptible hint of tea. Tannins are well-built and very slightly chewy. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of dry almond on the persistence.
