The nose offers notes of ripe redcurrants, cassis and lily combined with small notes of ripe raspberry, vanilla, coffee, small toasted notes as well as a subtle hint of sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers suavity, an acid frame, minerality, tension, a fine freshness as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of redcurrants, red cherry and small notes of raspberry, juicy blackberry combined with fine touches of toasted oak, zan as well as a discreet hint of licorice and subtle hints of chocolate. Tannins are fine and very slightly firm.
