Château La Diligente 2022 – Puisseguin Saint-Emilion

The nose is spicy and offers freshness, fruit, a frank and a relative massiveness. It expresses notes of pulpy boysenberry, pulpy/fleshy blackcurrant and more slightly – pulpy wild strawberry, associated with hints of violet, small pulpy blue fruits as well as hints of licorice/licorice stick. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy structure, tension, energy, a fine varietal side. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, fresh/juicy cherry and more slightly – fresh lily, fresh iris associated with touches of small fresh red berries. A discreet hint of chocolate in the background, freshness and minerality. A subtle chewiness in the background.
