The nose is aromatic and offers a slight gourmandize as well as a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, black cherry and small notes of cornflower associated with a hint of liquorice and slight hints of dark chocolate / tonka bean. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very slightly tight and offers good definition, a slight mineral frame, acidity, unctuosity as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blackberry and small notes of cornflower associated with a hint of blue fruits as well as slight touches of licorice, mocha, toasted oak and a very discreet hint of almond (in the background). Tannins are very fine and slightly powdered.
