Château La Dauphine 2014 – Fronsac

Château La Dauphine 2014 – Fronsac

The nose is fruity, finely concentrated as well as finely tight. It reveals notes of strawberry, crushed raspberry and fine touches of cherry jam, crushed cassis combined with a hint of blueberry and an imperceptible hint of violet, sweet spices and toasted oak. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers a fine mineral frame, a fine acidity, a fine juiciness, finesse and a fine elegance. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and fleshy Gariguette strawberry associated with a touch of fleshy red cherry, toasted oak as well as subtle touches of caramelization and sweet spices. Tannins are well-built. Good length and good persistence (with a hint of chocolate).
