Château La Croix Romane 2020- Lalande-de-Pomerol 

The nose is fruity, a little tight and offers a fine power as well as a small freshness. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, bright cassis, small notes of  pulpy raspberry associated with touches of blueberry, lilac, zan/star anis, verry fine hints of nutmeg and chocolate. The mouth is juicy/pulpy, round and offers gourmandize, a certain generosity, an acidulous/juicy frame, roundness, a certain amplitude. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/bright strawberry, cassis, small notes of cornflower associated with touches of liquorish, vanilla, bright blueberry as well as small hints of star anis, camphor and chocolate. Good length. The tannins offer a certain mellow. An imperceptible hint of coffee, dark chocolate/grilled cacao in the finish/persistence. Good length.
