Château La Croix Meunier – Cuvée Georges Meunier 2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is quite aromatic and offers a fine richness as well as a fine flowery side. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, small crushed black berries, small notes of small crushed blue fruits associated with a touch of cornflower, raspberry as well as very fine hints of nutmeg and a subtle hint of grey pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a bright fruit, a mineral fruit, a fine tension as well as freshness and a certain gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, juicy Boysen berry, small notes of violet associated with small touches of fresh cornflower as well as hints of chocolate, toasted and nutmeg. Tannins are racy. A wine full of fruit, juicy and mineral.
