The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine mineral frame, a fine suavity as well as a small fat/unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed cassis and more slightly cherry associated with touches of toasted oak, vanilla, a subtle hint of sweet spices as well as a very discreet hint of almond (in the background) and very discreet touches of mocha.
