Château La Couspaude 2020 Saint-Emilion Grand, Cru Grand Cru Classé

Château La Couspaude 2020 Saint-Emilion Grand, Cru Grand Cru Classé

On the nose it is fruity, elegant, racy and offers concentration (in control), deepness as well as fine freshness. It reveals notes of pulpy/ fresh berries, pulpy raspberries and more lightly fleshy strawberry associated with touches of fresh/fleshy blackcurrant, lily/flowers, soft spices, fine hints of toasted, pepper, cardamom, fresh cacao and a very discreet touch of fresh almonds. On the palate this wine expresses notes of freshness, minerality, a good definition, a certain gourmandize, a fresh/mineral frame, suavity, structure, a finely squeezed texture as well as a god guideline and elegance. The wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy Boysen berries, blackcurrant and more lightly juicy cherries associated to some touches of fresh/fleshy strawberries, fresh/lily flowers as well as hints of tonka bean, cardamom, fine hints of fresh cacao and an imperceptible hint of almond (in the background). The tannins are well built and racy. An imperceptible hint of coffee/ toasted on the aftertaste.
