Château La Courolle 2018 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

Château La Courolle 2018 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

The nose is finely tight/on the hold and fruity. It reveals notes of wild strawberry, small berries, small notes of cassis associated with small touches of nutmeg, toasted, very fine hints of liquorice and a subtle hint of fresh tobacco. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, juiciness, a fine acidulous frame as well as gourmandize, silkiness, a small richness and fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, fleshy/juicy raspberry, small notes of small fleshy red berries associated with touches of violet, plum as well as fine hints of sugared mild tobacco, vanilla and a subtle hint of almond. Good length. Tannins are precise and structuring. A gourmand wine !
