On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackcurrant, fresh/crisp raspberry and more lightly iris/lys combined with hints of nutmeg, delicate touches of crunchy berries as well as delicate hints of nutmeg, fresh blond tobacco, a subtle hint of salinity and a very discreet hint of toasted almond. There is a subtle hint of fresh liquorice and an imperceptible hint of fresh sap in the background. A nice touch of positive bitterness on the finish/persistence.
