The nose is fruity, elegant / powerful, aromatic, deep and offers a beautiful intensity as well as finesse. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of crushed small blue fruits associated with slight touches of fleshy raspberry, cassis, graphite, iris, chocolate, wild strawberry, almond as well as discreet hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful acidulous frame, a racy minerality, a captivating side (as a perfume), a beautiful texture as well as a beautifully fine and very slightly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of crushed cassis, sour cherry, blue fruits associated with subtle toasted hints / caramelization, almond and chocolate. Tannins are fine and elegant. Very discreet chew on the finish. Beautiful gourmandise.
