On the palate, fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a little creaminess, roundness, mastered in richness, and depth. The wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy raspberry, fleshy strawberry and hints of fleshy cassis associated with touches of fleshy/juicy violet plum and hints of tonka bean, caramelization, graphite, fine hints of vanilla, a subtle hint of bergamot in the background and toast. The tannins are massive, relatively polished and offers power and straightness.
