Château La Claymore 2016 – Lussac Saint-Emilion

Château La Claymore 2016 – Lussac Saint-Emilion

The nose is powerful, concentrated and offers a small alcoholic side. It reveals notes of cassis bud, blackberry and slight notes of wild small fruits associated with a very discreet hint of strawberry as well as slight hints of sweet spices and cardamom. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a slight minerality, gourmandise, fat as well as a beautiful gourmand matter and slightly fleshy. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and touches of plum associated with slight notes of flowers/violet as well as a discreet hint of fleshy red fruits, a discreet toasted hint and sweet spices. Good length. There is slight notes of chocolate on the finish. Nice potential!
