Château La Caussade 2015 – Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux 

The nose is fruity, finely elegant and aromatic. It reveals notes of cassis, strawberry and slight notes of blackberry combined with discreet touches of spices, Cuben pepper, wood and an imperceptible hint of coffee / mocha. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, finely gourmande and offers a fine mineral frame, freshness, roundness, suavity, a nice definition as well as a fine juiciness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, strawberry and fine notes of blackberry combined with discreet hints of tea, flowers as well as slight hints of spices and an imperceptible hint of licorice (in the background). Tannins are a bit firm. Good length and beautiful persistence. The persistence is gourmande and offers a fine touch of dark chocolate.
