Château la Brande 2022 – Castillon – Côtes de Bordeaux

Nice fresh nose, powerful and which offers precision as well as a lovely purity of fruit. There are notes of bright/ripe blackcurrant, small bright/ripe black fruits and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of cornflower, violet, lily as well as hints of almost fresh chocolate and fresh spices. The palate is nicely fresh, mineral, elegant, balanced and offers a lovely tangy structure, suavity, roundness, delicacy, beautiful purity, suppleness as well as beautiful energy. Attention to detail! On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, fairly ripe blackcurrant and small notes of bright raspberry associated with touches of violet, bright blueberry as well as hints of star anise, fresh chocolate, bright bigarreau cherry and a discreet hint of vanilla. The tannins are supple, fresh, powdery and elegant. Beautiful persistence.
