The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize, a fine richness and a fine power. It reveals notes of blackberry, small wild berries and small notes of wild strawberry associated with fine touches of violet, raspberry, cocoa and discreet hints of caramelization. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, well-built and offers gourmandize, a juicy/fleshy fruit and a fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy/juicy blackberry and small notes of juicy/fleshy strawberry associated with a touch of raspberry, violet, a hint of iris as well as fine hints of toasted, caramelization/chocolate. Tannins are well-built. Good length. A very discreet hint of vanilla on the finish/persistence.
