Château La Brande 2014 – Castillon Côtes-de-Bordeaux

Château La Brande 2014 – Castillon Côtes-de-Bordeaux

The nose is fine, slightly powerful and offers a slight elegance. It reveals slight notes of blackberry, cassis and touches of red fruits associated with a discreet hint of belle pepper, Sichuan pepper and an imperceptible hint of graphite. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, a beautiful fat, suavity, a slight gourmandise as well as a slight minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy strawberry, cassis and fresh blackberry associated with hints of toasted oak as well as a very discreet hint of dark chocolate, caramelization and an imperceptible hint of gray pepper on the persistence. Tannins are fine and very slightly dry. There is an imperceptible hint of bell pepper in the background. Good length and persistence.
