The nose is fruity, powerful and offers a fine grain and intensity. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe Boysen berry and small notes of crushed strawberry, blueberry, liquorice associated with very fine hints of gray pepper, violet/lily and very discreet hints of spices and incense. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, suavity, tension as well as a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy/juicy cassis and small notes of violet plum, small juicy/fresh red fruits as well as very discreet hints of liquorice and an imperceptible hint of peony (in the background). Tannins are precise and very finely firm. An imperceptible hint of grilled bread and crushed dry almond on the finish. Good length.
