The nose is fruity, racy and offers a slight minerality as well as elegance. It reveals notes of cassis, crushed cherry and slight notes of raspberry / cassis combined with a hint of flowers as well as touches of licorice, sweet spices and toasted touches. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, mineral, fresh and offers minerality, roundness, a slight tension as well as an acid frame (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cherry and strawberry combined with a touch of crushed redcurrant, cassis as well as touches of toasted oak, licorice / Zan, subtle touches of sweet spices and a very discreet hint of cocoa. Good length.
