The nose is fruity, relatively powerful and offers a fine richness as well as elegance. It reveals notes of ripe cherry, juicy cassis and wild raspberry associated with a discreet hint of colas as well as very discreet hints of spice / oak. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine juiciness, a fine minerality, elegance, a fine richness, gourmandise, a mineral frame, an acidity (in the background) as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, cassis and slight notes of cherry, wild red berries associated with a hint of zan, grilled oak and an imperceptible hint of mocha. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and aromatic persistence. There is a very discreet hint of saline minerality on the finish.
