Château Haut Selve – Reserve 2014 – Graves

Château Haut Selve – Reserve 2014 – Graves

The nose is fruity and offers a fine richness, gourmandise as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, black cherry and cassis cream combined with a hint of crushed raspberry as well as discreet hints of chocolate, cardamon and discreet toasted hints. The mouth is fruity, gourmand, mineral, racy and offers a nice freshness, suavity, a good definition, precision, finesse as well as a fine straightness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh Boysen berry, crushed cassis and small notes of fleshy black cherry associated with a hint of raspberry, cherry, small hints of licorice, undergrowth, cocoa as well as an imperceptible hint of ripe red bell pepper and a very discreet hint of truffle. Good length. There is a subtle hint of cocoa and almond on the aftertaste (brings gourmandise). A well-balanced and nice !
