Château Haut Selve 2016 – Graves

The nose is fruity, fresh, straight and elegant. It reveals notes of lemon, clementine zest and grapefruit zests associated with a hint of ripe peach in the background. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, nicely elegant and offers a nice fat (due to sticking/bâtonnage), a fine creaminess, freshness, straightness, a fine acidity (in the acidity) as well as a fine mineral frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of ripe peach, grapefruit, clementine and small notes of citrus zest associated with touches of quenette, passion fruit, ripe papaya and a very subtle hint of vanilla.
