The nose reveals notes of cassis, coffee and more slightly toasted associated with fine touches of wild strawberry, vanilla and almond. The palate is mineral, precise, well-defined, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a small suavity as well as a very fine acid frame (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, black cherry, crushed raspberry and fleshy small black berries associated with touches of chocolate, Sichuan pepper as well as subtle touches of spices and a very discreet hint of violet. Tannins are slightly firm and slightly dry. Fine power on the persistence/aftertaste.
