On the nose, fruity and offers a fine concentration, some power and a fine grain. It reveals notes of concentrated blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and more lightly crushed blue berries combined with hints of raspberry, violet as well as fine hints of fresh blond tobacco and a touch of pepper. On the palate, it is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, good definition, juiciness, minerality, acidity and fine tension. The wine expresses juicy/fresh blackberry, pulpy/juicy blackcurrant and more lightly violet notes combined with hints of pulpy/fresh red berries, lily, blueberry, hints of licorice stick as well as discreet toasted, cocoa and caramelized notes. Good length. The tannins are precise.
