The nose is fruity, aromatic and a bit ‘strict’. It reveals notes of blackberry, black cherry and crushed redcurrant / strawberry combined with touches of colas, Sichuan pepper and vanilla / toasted oak. This wine need to be put in carafe. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice juicy frame, a fine acidity, a subtle suavity, elegance, freshness, a good definition, fine straightness and suppleness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy black cherry and redcurrant associated with fine touches of chocolate, licorice as well as a discreet hint of vanilla/oak and caramelization. Tannins are fine and a bit firm. Good length and good persistence.
