The nose is fruity, direct and reveals a fine power/intensity, precision and some pungency. There are notes of ripe/juicy wild blackcurrant, bigarreau cherry and more lightly liquorice combined with touches of minerality, peony and a subtle hint of pepper (in the background) and fresh vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, juiciness, acidity, good definition, gourmandize, energy and racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh blackberry, raspberry and slightly fresh/juicy blackcurrant notes combined with hints of graphite, cuben pepper as well as fine crunchy berry tips and a subtle hint of fresh blond tobacco. Good length. The tannins are supple and sapid.
