The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose offers density, depth and gourmandise. It expresses notes of fresh blackcurrant, crème de cassis, morello cherry, red cherry jam, roasted red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry, combined with fresh notes of wild mint, blackcurrant bud, black tea, with a refined spiciness (licorice, white pepper, cloves, ground cumin) as well as fine floral touches (violet, cornflower) and a hint of toasted hazelnut and coffee in the background. The palate offers concentration, a firm and dry tannin structure on the finish. It expresses notes of dried red cherry, morello cherry, blackcurrant, raspberry, wild strawberry and blueberry, associated with an integrated spiciness (licorice, clove, nutmeg), a touch of dried mint, black tea, violet, rose and cocoa in the background. The acidity is lively and salivating, it balances the dry tannins on the finish. A powerful, concentrated and gourmand wine.
