Château Haut Coteau 2021 – Saint-Estèphe

The nose reveals a fine richness, power and concentration. There are notes of crushed strawberry, ripe blackcurrant and, more lightly, crushed cherry, combined with hints of violet, liquorice and fine points of racy minerality and a discreet touch of pepper. The palate is mineral and offers a smooth, balanced, elegant, airy approach. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy cherry, raspberry and, more slightly, juicy blackcurrant, combined with delicate touches of lily, fine hints of star anise and a discreet hint of toasted hazelnut, good length, suavity and good work on the bitter taste at the end.
