The nose is fruity and offers minerality as well as a very fine intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of small ripe/fresh black fruits associated with touches of crushed raspberry, lily, grey pepper, discreet hints of spices, vanilla pod and an imperceptible hint of saffron. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, a small freshness, fat, a fine concentration, a finely acidulous frame as well as a fine tension, energy, finesse of the grain and a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fleshy blackberry, juicy raspberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of small pulpy/juicy black berries, lily, cardamom as well as hints of tobacco, iodide minerality, vanilla, a subtle hint of chocolate and saffron. Tannins are chewy. Good length.
