Château Haut Condissas – Prestige 2020, Haut-Médoc

On the nose, offers a fine texture as well as a fine power. It reveals notes of toast, toasted hazelnut and more lightly of bright black berries combined with hints of morello cherry, cherry blossom, graphite as well as discrete waft of mocha and a subtle touch of vanilla. On the palate, fruity, discreetly tight and offers minerality, good definition, a certain fat, a little tension. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/chunky blackberry, ripe small black berry and more lightly raspberry combined with hints of black plum, violet, caramelization and discrete vanilla tips. Good length. The tannins are relatively powerful and structured.
