(100% Merlot) The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is juicy, delicious, fruity and with a nice freshness. It expresses notes of black plum, red plum, strawberry, crushed raspberry, wild blackberry, as well as a touch of mint chocolate, cherry in chocolate, clove, cumin, as well as a hint of caramel, toasted vanilla and toasted hazelnut and a hint of dried bay leaf in the background. On the palate, we find distinct but integrated woody notes (cocoa, toasted wood, toasted almond, dried vanilla, caramel). The fruits on the attack on the palate are tarter than on the nose: we first feel the notes of wild strawberry, raspberry and red cherry, which are then completed by the notes of blackberry, black plum, morello cherry, as well as dried licorice, cloves, cornflower and bay leaf. Beautiful acidity, fresh and salivating. The finish is quite persistent, juicy and gourmand.
