Château Haut-Chaigneau 2022 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

Château Haut-Chaigneau 2022 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

The nose is reserved, but offers depth, concentration and juiciness. It expresses notes of ripe fruit (black plum, morello cherry, blackberry, raspberry, wild strawberry) and woody and spicy notes (vanilla, toasted, coffee, licorice, clove) which are beginning to integrate. The palate is fruity, juicy and fresh. It expresses notes of tangy fresh red and black fruits (bigarreau cherry, morello cherry, black plum, raspberry), menthol, licorice, toasted and coffee as well as delicate touches of fresh flowers. The structure is well constructed, it is solid and firm, the tannins are powerful, but fine and velvety. Beautiful energy, a lingering finish and refreshing acidity. Very good potential.
