The nose is fruity, well-balanced and offers intensity / power. It reveals notes of wild berries, black cherry and small notes of cassis combined with touches of Sichuan pepper, cornflower and spices / Lapsang Souchong tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers a good definition, roundness, freshness, suavity, a slight acidulous frame, a bit aerial side as well as finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy wild berries and small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with slight touches of violet, spices as well as a discreet hint of cassis bud and tonka bean. Tannins are very slightly dry.
